Now that QR codes have been around for a little while now and are fairly prevalent, it feels safe to say that they have not caught on with the general population. In 2012, roughly 20% of people in the U.S. scanned QR codes, according to Pitney Bowes. Maybe it’s just me, but that number probably hasn’t increased much since.
